The classes offered may be taken by anyone: member of a congregation, local church leader, or lay servant. All class offerings except Introduction to Lay Ministries: The Basic Course may not be used as a re-certification class for lay servants /CLM.

You may attend classes outside of your district, based on your own needs.

Registration is $35, paying on line by credit card or check. (All checks need to be sent to  Southern Region, Baltimore-Washington Conference, 11711 East Market Place, Fulton, MD 20759. You will not be considered fully registered until the check is received. The check should arrive at the office prior to the deadline date noted for the course you select.) 

The Lay Servant Academy reserves the right to cancel a class for insufficient registrations. We will give as much notice as possible for persons to register for another class or request a refund. To see the refund policy see below all course offerings. Bring your registration confirmation to the first class, which will begin promptly at 6:30 PM unless otherwise noted.

No absences are allowed for weekend classes.
