Lay Servant Academy

Dates: Mondays, May 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Location: Class will be held via Zoom. 

Information for joining the class will be provided prior to the class start date.  Participants must remain on the screen throughout the class.

The Basic course is foundational for all courses in Lay Servant Ministries. Participants are encouraged to discover and use personal spiritual gifts as God intended and to consider the importance of exercising servant leadership, developing future leaders, remaining rooted in consistent spiritual practices, and being part of a group that holds members accountable in their discipleship. 

Required Text: Lay Servant Ministries (Basic Course Participant Book) by Sandy Jackson and Brian Jackson, ISBN‐13: 978-0881776263. 

Class Assignments: Please purchase and read the text prior to class. To pass the class, participants must attend each session and complete all assignments in the requested timeframe as directed by the instructor.  

Class Certificates: Upon successful completion of the class, certificates will be sent via e-mail by the District Directors of Lay Servant Ministries.

Online Registration Only: $40. (Refunds will be issued only if the class is cancelled or a request is made at least one week prior to the start date.)
